If I were young and ambitious again, I'd move most lickety split to a state with low government overhead. States like CA, IL, NY, Mass and other deep blue states I'd never consider for raising a family and creating wealth. The genius of our Founders enabled people to vote with their feet and we may be seeing that happening right now. Washington and Lincoln and Reagan all arose at a time of crisis, a crossroads. America surely faces an equivalent dilemma now. The irony is on its face the crisis today is NOT as potent as past ones, but has been made such by today's leaders. It's as though external events dip down alarmingly but the mettle of the people remains high, and so a leader emerges to lead the country up out of its crisis. External events hardly dipped at all this time around, in 2007/08. The only real difference was the ginned-up, totally artificial Bush-hatred that preceded the 2008 election. I felt then and I feel now that America is simply reaping the whirlwind for its unbelievably harsh, unfair treatment of an accomplished, sincere, spiritual man of deep conviction - former President Bush. And yes, the media and Hollywood and academica led this lynch-mob. I really felt then that there was no way America could escape the consequences of such immoral mistreatment of an honorable man. Actions have consequences.

President Bush literally saved the nation from multiple subsequent terror attacks. He created the conditions for an emergent democracy in Iraq. He arrested and reversed the AIDS epidemic in Africa with a simple but inspired program for timely treatments in communities across the continent. He is literally revered in Africa to this day.

America is reaping the karmic whirlwind for how it treated President Bush. And even now, even now, there is still a refusal by the media and the intelliegentsia to acknowledge how unjustified their lies and misrepresentations were, and equally they deny how they enabled and excused the most vicious and destructive Presidency in the modern world. Obama will be America's Caligula before he's through. There's no bottom to the depravity and destruction and endless self-justifications of which such a psychopathic narcissist is capable. So, hello to our newest nuclear power. Hagel kept using the term "containment" when discussing the Obama policy regarding a nuclear Iran until Carl Levin corrected him. Preferably with broadband by Hughesnet, or such.

At least many of us share your regrets of life in the world now, in my case as never before. It is as though I’ve dropped into a stranger’s foreign land, something with only a shadow of reality, in which so few of us rather, than the majority of our American countrymen, appreciate the grave divergence that is occurring in America's path from Constitutional principles. Perhaps in the past they had no public voice to make fools of themselves, and confirm their lack of smarts, in never ending ways. I prefer to know it is the gross failure of most so called professors at colleges, who have been wasting everyone’s time, propagandizing nonsense leftist related drivel, since taking over in the ‘60’s, just after I got out of college.

The disappointing quantity of Americans exhibiting delusions, gullibility, stunning lack of logical reasoning, lack of caution or scholarship is growing to legendary portions, despite so called college educations, of those who don’t even drop out. Deception and demagoguery at all levels in political people, what a mess. The would be "emperor" has been working hard at making “his” people believe that it all comes handed down and given by “his” benevolence, both law giver and privilege giver!!!! A Machiavelli himself. And too many people forget that is also true about the Congress, as well. Certainly most of Congress has forgotten such, with lip service offered to constituents. What kind of dipstick fool is a Joe Salazar of Co. who puts women into the position of incapably stupid chattel who must not be trusted with guns. Of course Joe Bidet, trusts them to only blow a couple blasts from a window with a shotgun only, ‘cause women just don’t nor can know how to aim a real gun!!!!!
