Where is Hillary Clinton on Fast and Furious?

Under Attorney General Eric Holder, the Department of Justice declared war on the people of Mexico.

Using the ATF, the Justice Department carried out a covert operation that violated the laws of the United States, supplied thousands of weapons to the enemies of the government and people Mexico and killed hundreds of Mexican citizens. The operation also produced the collateral damage of one or possibly two murdered US federal agents, and put at risk the lives of other US citizens on this side of the border. In other words, Obama and Holder have lied, and hundreds have died in a war against our southern neighbor.

Never mind Teapot Dome, Checkers, Chappaquiddick, Watergate, or Iran-Contra: "Fast and Furious" is arguably the greatest scandal in American political history. It most certainly is the greatest scandal never  reported by the main media outlets. Obama's misadministration sought to launch an attack on the second amendment by "proving" that lax US gun laws led to Mexico's drug-fueled violence. It decided to "prove" that by providing the guns. It was the ultimate in cop weapon throw-down or evidence planting.

Imagine if the situation were the reverse. Imagine that the Attorney General of Mexico, in order to argue for stronger anti-drug laws in Mexico, decided as a matter of policy to provide drugs to the most powerful US criminal gangs. How would we react? Drone strikes on Chapultepec Castle, anybody?  I must say that the Mexican reaction has been surprisingly muted to Obama's declaration of war against Mexico.

So where is our Secretary of State on all of this? During my time at State, I worked a great deal on Latin American issues. The line about "drugs flow north and guns flow south" was a constant theme. Those of us in the field, actually in the field, in the places where the dope and violence are, knew that was false. I ran into a lot of guns, violence, and dope dealers. I never saw evidence that the dopers were getting guns from the US. Stolen cars, yes, but weapons, no. I raised my doubts about this as I have reported before. I was not the only one. Lots of us doubted the line we were being handed and forced to repeat.  So now it turns out that we were wrong. The guns were coming from the US, well, that is, once we elected Obama and his misadministration's deliberate policy of sending guns to the dopers.

So, then, what did Hillary Clinton know and when did she know it? She herself went about saying that 60-90% of the weapons in the hands of Mexican drug gangs came from the US, which, of course, meant we needed stronger gun laws in the US. All of us worker bees in the State Department got "mea culpa" talking points to use that said the same thing.

So was Secretary Clinton in on the DOJ/ATF fraud or was she a victim of it? What is her position? If she was bamboozled by Holder, has she taken the matter up with the President? Does she have a position on the fact that our government was waging a covert war against Mexico? Shouldn't the Secretary of State have a position on this matter? Shouldn't she be demanding the AG's resignation or offering up her own in disgust?

Why no questions for the Secretary of State?

  1. And why are you the first to ask this question? Where is the watchdog media in guarding our freedoms? A sorry, sorry time indeed. Obama has corrupted our laws, our politicians and our foreign service.

  2. Not sure I agree. Our bureaucratic incompetence does not allow us to be so systematic.

  3. Very good questions for Madame Secretary.

This whole thing stinks to high heaven. What will it take to break through the stone wall around this story?

  4. So, does this mean Obama neutralized a potential challenger for the Democrat nomination by compromising her with the taint of F&F? I believe she already announced she won't stay on for a second term (which is akin to saying you're not planning on continuing with the RMS Titanic on the return leg while looking for a seat on a life boat). She may feel the need for time/space to let the stink on her fade.

  5. Don't ever forget Brian Terry , Jaime Zapata and the 200 Mexicans killed by Obama’s Fast and Furious guns. Trying to get rid of the 2nd amendment is backfiring on them. We'll be counting more dead bodies while Obama and Holder are trying to cover it up.

    Verse.

Even though Fast and Furious Holder hasn’t read it
If you’re an American , not Jihadi or Hamas he’ll discredit it

The Chief Organizer may not think a hard worker like Robert Krentz a winner
A month after he died he had a good laugh at the correspondence dinner
He wants illegals to be able to vote some day
If they kill American heros like Brian Terry
    I guess that’s OK

Semper Fi Brian it’s a shame you had to fight with bean bags
Against Obama’s Fast and Furious bullets

  6. MY GOD the question cannot even be taken seriously as to why Hilary isn't questioned about the war on Mexico--she knows firsthand, better than anyone else, that it was under her husband's administration and direction to completely turn a blind eye to border patrol--his direction to the ones who were to be watching the borders, to LET 'EM IN, LET 'EM ALL IN - in this way he knew the democrats would secure their place. He set these wheels in motion and touched off the influx. Just as Michael Savage said during clinton's administration that it was like taking a bandaid off a wound, letting it get infected and with no barrier came the influx of millions of germs and bacteria. Perfect analogy and the perfect storm was created. I detest all things clinton and understand why we have the dilemma we have in this country--yet NO one ever looks back at this era in government and points the finger. No, they are all too busy blaming Bush for everything.

  7. The planned outcome for F&F were dead humans. Without death it was a failure.

Why is this not brought up?

This coming week is the death of Obama's tenure and Holder's post.

    Dispicable.

  8. Hilary and BO are glued to the hip. What BO does , Hilary does and vise a verse. BO and his administration are falling apart before our eyes and F & F may be the final nail to this failed experiment. The President will succeed only if he upholds the US Constitution he swore to uphold! Hilary protected Bill because she knew that by protecting him she would gain the sympathy of the country and the world. The only way out for Hilary is to stand against F&F but she wont and she cant because she is involved ( probably her idea ).
Those in power ( Dems or who knows ? )are in panic mode as their 2 star players are both corrupt and unfix-able. We need to expose BO and Hilary and any other government servant who refuses to stand against this attempt to overthrow our United States of America.

  9. Did Secretary Clinton know about Fast and Furious?
    If so, she's implicated too.
If not, the White House's DoJ screwed over its own State Department in dealing with a sovereign nation.
Either way, it sinks her prospects to run for office.

  10. Hillary has a problem either way. It's logical that DOJ et al coordinated this with State since an international border was involved and because Hillary still has some clout in DC. She'd look ineffective and weak if she hadn't been told, which would make Obama look like a poor leader/administrator.

But I recall seeing her on TV when the whole American guns in Mexico thing was becoming an issue and before F&F exploded. She blamed American weapons for the slaughter and was clearly trying to help Obama fulfill a campaign promise to crack down on assault weapons.

So she either has blood on her hands and deserves a criminal investigation or she's out of the loop, weak and incompetent. Her only hope is to throw the entire administration to the wolves and hope the stink somehow avoids her. Not a pretty choice.
