Joe "Sardonicus" Biden

There was an old film, "Mr. Sardonicus," that used to scare me as a kid. I don't remember the whole plot but it had to do with somebody who did something so evil that his face was frozen into a horrible grimace. To wit,

Behold the remake,

What a truly weird and horrible performance!

  1. Joe Biden reminds me of "The Coach" from "Cheers". One could say he looks like him, too.

  2. Inspired!

And it spawned a pale imitation, lol.

  3. I think this was a try for Obamas' next debate tactics. First indication not so good.

  4. Biden's sneering, rude and flat-out dishonest performance will probably win them the election if Romney can't make a big comeback in the next debate. This is an image over substance culture now, after all.

  5. Biden also showed how completely divorced from reality the Administration is IRT Iran's program. He gives a big "so what" to iran's enrichment program because they still don't have a 'weapon' to put the uranium in. Assuming he means a warhead, how hard does he think building a "shotgun" (Hiroshima) style of bomb would be? As for the lack of a delivery system, sure, a bit heavy for the class of missiles that iran has...but in a region full of people willing to strap a bomb to themselves and walk into a pizza parlor, do they not think the Iranians can find someone willing to deliver a bomb in a cargo truck, or by flying an airplane overhead, or even putting it on a boat and sailing into the harbor?

  6. Mr. Biden's behavior went from rude to revolting. This was the VP of my country interrupting over 80 times, laughing at incredibly innapropriate times and throwing his hands in the air?
BTW Joe, who in State are you going to have fired as their testimony under oath to Congress this week was clearly perjury if what you said last night was true?

  7. Does Biden even have a soul? Didn't he sell his four years ago for some nondescript political job or another?

  8. For me, the most interesting Biden comments came in relation to Ambassador Stevens assassination. He pretty much trashed the "intelligence community" regarding the Benghazi attacks in direct contradiction of recent Congressional testimony. I assume the CIA, etc. will be burning the wires to present their side of the story to sympathetic media and Congressional ears. We haven't heard the end of this.

  9. If your choice is to sin against God or against the bureaucracy, then choose to sin against God...He will forgive...the bureaucracy will not...

  10. Ha! I know. Too weird. I tweeted about the resemblence to the Mr. Sardonicus grin during the debate last night and posted this same pic on my journal.

Always nice to run into someone with similar memories who can make the same identical associations.

    Biden was a lot creepier.

    1. Yes, Sardonicus, after all, is a fictional character. Biden, unfortunately, is not.

    2. His fake smiling has always been annoying. I've described it as his Tourette's Smile. Mr Sardonicus is much more accurate as there is an affliction called 'Risus sardonicus' which is characterized by "abnormal, sustained spasm of the facial muscles that appears to produce grinning".

  11. When I first saw your post header, I figured that you had somehow made a connection between Joe Biden and Randy California. I was wrong. Dang.

  12. Wow another zionist.....you people do evil and try to get everyone to believe you're doing good....Israel is the the biggest terrorist organization in the world currently whether you ignore this fact or not. There is no way a person with a sane mind and any hint of morality and an accurate knowledge of history can support Israel.
