Did we have a surrender ceremony on board a US battleship in the Gulf of Sidra? I guess I missed it. Looking over the MSM newspapers "of record," it's hard to find anything on Libya. Certainly, Obama, The One, The Name, HaShem השם himself has wandered off to other topics.
So either we just won a smashing victory, or this President has voted "present," after committing US blood, treasure, and prestige in an idiotic, ill-conceived, horribly executed, unjustified, and half-baked intervention into the affairs of the Libyan gangster state. We have a President bored by the job of the Presidency, surrounded by inept advisors, and interested only in being the center of attention but without having to do any real work.
So what's happened in Libya? How will our interests NOW be affected? No answer from the White House or the State Department.
Impeach Obama.
Guess the empty chair is for Qaddafi . . . or maybe for NATO
Well, we now have the NATO Secretary General saying "Maybe violence isn't the answer:" http://goo.gl/aTqMk
ReplyDeleteIt appears that, with Obama withdrawing most of our planes, NATO has realized it hasn't the wherewithal to do the job.
This really has been a truly half-assed operation, and the result will be a vengeful Qaddafi still in power.
I have never had a high estimation of either this administration or this particular venture. That said, what has transpired is so stupid that I keep thinking I must be missing some [no doubt redeeming] angle.
ReplyDeleteBut what I hear from the local libs is that the massacre was forestalled, hence it was a totally successful operation. And of course, no one in the Fourth Estate is going to bring the subject up.
Unbelievable.
I really don't mind losing this one, as we took the side of Iran/muslim brotherhood/AQ. Besides, Obama got his victory in Egypt, he helped put the muslim brotherhood in power by just flapping his jaw.
