With Opponents Like These, Who Needs Friends?
OK. By now you must have all see it. The cover of that magazine. No, not the one with the breast-feeding brat. The other one. The May 21 one from Newsweek, declaring Obama "the first gay president," and containing a lachrymose article by allegedly "conservative" and gay pundit Andrew Sullivan.
I think the Romney team can all go home and take a long break and snooze. Obama's supporters are going to do him in all by themselves.
I figure this just cost him 5-7 million votes . . . .

I hope you're right about that vote tally! I can't help but wonder if he "approved" this cover, or if this was a surprise. It is a bit off the wall, even for these people.

You're assuming people still read Newsweek, and that those who do are something other than die hard liberals who could somehow be convinced NOT to vote for the won...

ReplyDeleteThe Time cover is one more example of liberals' narrow vision and tone deafness. It may have played well in the newsroom at Time, but it is a killer in the black community. Black ministers are anti gay, and totally against gay marriage. And Democrats don't win presidential elections without the support of black ministers. Those facts simply eluded the elites of New York based Time.
