We, for example, have the former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox, who either suffers from some sort of derangement, is drunk, or is just not too smart mouthing off and using obscenities as he tells us not to vote for Trump. Canada's playboy PM Justin
Ah, yes. Mayor Sadiq Aman Khan tells us not to vote for Trump; in fact, he wants to help Hillary Clinton win our presidential elections. How nice. He says Trump is very ignorant about Islam, bad for Muslims, and that his proposed ban on Muslim immigration would lead to Muslims attacking us. Sadiq warns that we would "play into the hands of the extremists." To show his commitment, Sadiq has vowed not to visit the USA if Trump is elected, thereby sacrificing his daughters' visit to Disney World. Wow! Serious stuff! Not quite worth 72 virgins, but still . . . .
Yawn . . . I tire of this fairy tale.
Mr. Mayor, with all due respect, let me point out one thing and ask you one question. Please note, sir, that currently no ban exists on Muslims entering, for example, the EU, Canada, the US, Australia, or the UK. Despite that (because of that?) Muslims attack us. Right in your own city of London, some people might tell you about 7/7. Perhaps you have forgotten about it? You should ask around. How, then, would a ban on Muslims entering our countries make it more likely we would get attacked? The only thing I can see is that it would make it harder for them to attack us, but you tell me. You're the mayor.
Mayor Sadiq Aman Khan's parents moved from India to Pakistan at partition, fleeing to Muslim rule in the wake of the departure of the evil British Christian colonialists. After a time in Pakistan, however, Sadiq's parents apparently decided that those evil British Christian colonialists weren't so bad after all. The family moved to Britain; there Sadiq was born, raised, educated, became a lawyer and "human rights" activist--of course--got into leftist politics, and did quite well. All this is certainly a tribute to Sadiq's work ethic but also, let us not forget, to the tolerance and the generosity of British society.
So, yes, Sadiq's parents formed part of that global move to live under the sway of WCD,
Around the world we see that just about everybody wants to live with the White Christian Dudes. We see this drive to live with White Christian Dudes every day along our southern border; Australians see it on their coasts and in the changing make up of their cities; Britons in the unceasing wave of migrants besieging their island. Canada's beautiful Vancouver in beautiful British Columbia has become a largely Asian city. Everywhere, it seems, the civilization built by White Christian Dudes is the magnet.Let's go over some basics. Mr. Mayor, no constitutional right exists to a United States visa. Not even international law recognizes the right to enter another country. Sovereign countries can set restrictions on whom they allow in. In fact, our immigration law has provisions for keeping out persons who adhere to creeds advocating the violent overthrow of the US government. For many, many years we banned nazis, fascists, and communists from entry for that reason. We have more than enough legal ammunition and precedence to keep out those who adhere to a belief system that seeks to impose Shariah law; forcibly convert, enslave or kill our population; and, of course, put an end to our democracy. We have the right and the obligation of national defense.
Sorry, Mr. Mayor, I know that I wrote that I would ask you only one question, but please let me ask another couple. You see, sir, I always wanted to visit Mecca; might I go with you next time you go? In fact, I always wanted to become mayor of Riyadh or Karachi, could you help me with that? Yeah sure, I am Jewish, but since Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance that shouldn't be a problem, right? I mean there can't be that many extremists?
Never mind. Just stay home, Mr. Mayor, and pray for WCD rule.
Trump for President.
Greetings from Downunder,
ReplyDeleteWhen I become Emperor of Australia (not expected this week but possibly next), I will decree that when Saudi Arabia allows churches, synagogues and temples on its soil, Australia will allow the further construction of mosques.
Until then no more mosques, state funded Islamic schools or Saudi sourced money to support same.
Can't get fairer than that.
Sounds good to me . . .
DeleteI think, Dip, you have once again hit that nail!
ReplyDeleteI've asked this before: Why do Muslims want to immigrate to places like the US, Canada, UK, etc. if we are so evil?
Well, a few do because they have evil intent, or tehy see it as their bit to convert the world.
But for the vast majority, they want to "get ahead" in their lives. And they find they can do that a lot better and safer among those White Christian Dudes than they can among their own ilk.
Says a lot for the attraction of Islam, doesn't it?
Graham
As a missions-minded Christian, I note that our circles have been caught flat-footed (and are humbly grateful to a merciful God for it) by a surprising openness to the Gospel among Muslim immigrants. It can no longer be taken for granted that Christians of Iranian origin in the USA are Assyrian or Armenian, for there has been a growing number of Muslim-background Christians showing up among them, too. It was former guest workers in Europe who went back and re-planted churches among the Kabyle of Algeria and among the Turks and Kurds of SE Anatolia. Forty years ago, this sort of thing was all but unthinkable.
DeleteI feel like you're mainly proposing some simple 'balance'.
ReplyDeleteFor every adherent to the official religion of Saudi Arabia that enters the United States, one adherent to the official religion of the United States will enter Saudi Arabia. Before you know it, there will be no Social Justice Warriors and Global Warming Alarmists left in America.

Ha! Too good to succeed . . .
DeleteVery sensible--and the export of our radical feminists, SJW, and LGBTQ's to Saudi Arabia would be a welcome development--it's too sensible to be implemented.
DeleteIt's very easy to find reputable news sites that report Khan's links to Muslim extremism. I hope Western Leaders are paying attention to this creeping Sharia.
ReplyDeleteAs in so many things - America leads the way. I have lost count of the US citizens who have recently been telling me what to do. It's a bit like drone attacks - one day they'll come back and bite you!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you have noticed, BoE, that, in YOUR country, on D&N, I never ever tell you how you ought to vote. It is just gauche!
DeleteOK. I have taken you off my list!
DeleteOil is the root of all evil ...
ReplyDelete"Oil is the root of all evil ..."
DeleteBut, I thought money was....
"Love of money is the root of all evil" is the saying. But of course it isn't: love of power does far more harm.
DeleteNo, THEIR oil is the root. Ours is the Round Up. (R)
DeleteI might be able to support Trump if he has you on his short list for SecState in his cabinet.
ReplyDeleteKeep writing that; keep witting that . . . LOL!

I second that. It might just keep me from retiring early.
Delete"and that his proposed ban on Muslim immigration would lead to Muslims attacking us."
ReplyDeleteIn a sense he's right. In the very same way that refusing to hand over your wallet to an armed robber will lead to him shooting you. Because, you know, if he does that you forced him to. Its your fault. Sure. Screw that and anybody who thinks such a muddled line of mental contortions constitutes rational thought.
Hey--if all cultures are really equal and my culture dictates that I should kill every Muslim I come into contact with I can't be criticized can I? What! You mean I can be? Its truly strange how this cultural equality thing works.
You'd think that some of the animals are more equal than others.

ReplyDeleteDip:
ReplyDeleteSpeaking as a white Christian dude (albeit with 50% Jewish ancestry) who lives in a county where whites are a mere plurality largely due to immigration, I wish to observe that a lot of the people around here are, well, Far Eastern Christian dudes (and dudettes). It seems that every couple of blocks the Korean immigrants have put up a church one or another Evangelical stripe; while there are also a number of churches catering to a Chinese immigrant population--one of which my own Taiwan-born Diplowife and I attend. Where I teach, there are a lot of more recent African immigrants (often Christian; and they've been poaching on Muslim preserves as well). What I get from many of these people are stories that remind me very much of the European immigrant stories I heard from my parents--including the discovery by some of the Republican Party.
I thought your piece on WCD was among our best (and by and large, I love your blog); but as a traditional Protestant Christian of the "white" persuasion, I don't think it was the lack of melanin that really got European civilization going. Nor can we forget that Christianity is not something to be kept to one tribe or nation. As soon as Paul wrote that there's neither Jew nor Greek (he seems to have believed in two races of man rather than three, five, or seven) in Jesus Christ, or perhaps when the risen Jesus himself ordered his apostles to spread the Word to the ends of the earth, we've been the world's original multicultural experiment.
Melting pot experiment. :)
DeleteAll these Liberal Overlords want to put peas, carrots, and green beans in their own little pockets... and spend their navel gazing hours keeping them separate and walled off from anything of value.
Christianity does turn that on its toes... a big messy stock pot full of everything imaginable, knowing that kings and slaves are no different when before the almighty.
It's sometimes a little amusing to see asian-focused churches outstripping more traditional christian churches, especially 'denominational' churches in growth and outreach.

#1482--As a matter of fact, plenty of largely white churches in flyover country are doing fairly well. It's important that a church stick to its [far Southwest] Asian roots in the Holy Bible.
DeleteYes, I forgotten about it. I was having a conversation with a black friend yesterday (another physician) and I pointed out that, genetically speaking, Farrakhan was correct about blacks being "sun people" and whites being "ice people." White skin was a mutation that survived in those living in Europe 10,000 years ago because sunlight on skin makes vitamin D and wearing clothing in latitudes with shorter days and less sunlight causes a problem for those who left Africa. White skin was the solution to the problem of Rickettts.
ReplyDeleteAll I want to know is why, if white men are the worst of the worst, why does everyone want to live with them?
ReplyDeleteIt's like the classic restaurant review:
