Collusion Collision

OK. Just a quick one as I enter the final days of the GREAT MOVE.

The Russian collusion story has gotten so weird nobody could have predicted it . . . well, except for this blog and about tens of millions of other persons.

Anyhow, as regular readers know, I have written a great deal about the Russia story and the allegations that Trump and his campaign were in bed with Moscow, and that Putin was willing to go for broke (almost) to ensure that Trump, instead of that really, really scary Hillary Clinton, won the November 2016 presidential election. I never bought it, simply because it made no sense.

Last March I wrote a piece which basically called the true narrative of the Trump-Putin collusion story,
As part of the Democrats' desperation move to delegitimize and perhaps even abort the Trump presidency, the obedient and well-trained progressive national media took up the theme of Russian hacking of our election and of Russian intel efforts on behalf of Trump's candidacy. Please see the many pieces I have posted on this if you want more details . . . .
The Democrats, trying to avoid discussing that their terrible candidate used an illegal private server for classified work while she served as SecState, and to distract from the steady and corrosive drip-drip of information coming out of Wikileaks re a range of Democratic shenanigans, hit on the story of the Trump campaign being in bed with Putin and his agents. A series of "bombshell" "leaks" from what was claimed were intel sources alleged that the Russians were working to get Trump elected and that the Trump campaign not only knew this but was collaborating with Moscow <...>

The Dems claim that Trump is in bed with the Russians; Trump denies it and countercharges that the Dems had him under surveillance. We have here a problem. If the Dems have official intel on Trump's connections with Russia, how did they get it? Presumably from the official intel services which then it would appear were monitoring Russian contacts with Trump's people. If there was no surveillance order given to US intel, from where did the intel on Russian contacts come? The British is apparently the Trump answer. I have a more plausible one. I think there was surveillance of Russian activity, probably by the NSA, and it found nothing to show that Trump had contacts with the Russians; the Obamistas and the Clintonistas then made up the accounts of Russian interference. In other words, they lied. That's the most charitable explanation I can develop. There, of course, are harsher ones which I hope are not accurate, ones that would show, once again, Obama's misuse of the nation's intel and enforcement capabilities.
When all the spinning, talking points, and bad/fake news reporting ends, one is left with the irrefutable fact that the Democrats lied about Trump's links to Russia. They lied BECAUSE, in fact, they were the ones in cahoots with the Russians. Bill and Hillary aided Vlad's effort to corner the world's uranium market in exchange for, (drumroll, shocked face) money! Lots of it. Some (around $145 million or so) funneled to the odious criminal organization known as the Clinton Foundation, and other large amounts handed directly to Bill as "speaking fees."

The Clintons and Obama were dead certain Hillary would win the election, and all this grotesque corruption and selling out of the nation's interests would be buried and ignored. Hillary's campaign and the Democratic Party leadership paid millions to a shady outfit (Fusion GPS) to develop a narrative about Trump being the Ruskies' Pet Poodle. In violation of US election laws, the Dems paid millions to foreigners, including Russians, to cook up the salacious but very fake "dossier" on Trump and help ensure the election would go Hillary's way.

It's all coming apart now, a massive train wreck.

Popcorn has never tasted so good . . .

  1. Bury it!
I saw this story a couple of days ago and figured it wouldn't last 24hrs on 'algorithm driven' news sites. Sure enough, it didn't.
The only hope of people catching onto this is if drudge sits on it for months.
At *some* point, even the ostriches with their heads in the sand have to come up for air.

    1. I stopped reading Drudge after he became complicit in the smear Trump movement about December1, 2016. Really sad because I had followed him religiously since about 1998.

  2. Sidebar: Is it possible that the Awan family (Pakistani IT "workers" for the DNC, DWS and other Dems in the House) knew about the Fusion GPS scam ... and maybe even Uranium One ... and that is why they were so pampered and richly rewarded? The stench coming from the swamp is overwealming ...

  3. It's quite possible they knew about everything the corrupt DNC was up to.

  4. I'm starting to wonder if Hoover kept files on various government officials in order to avoid political entanglements.

From where I sit, the FBI is hopelessly corrupt these days. I just do not see how the top law enforcement agency in the country can be trusted when the people running the agency colluded with Justice to cover up crimes while trying to take down a duly elected president.

    1. You're right. I find that one of the great tragedies of all this, the death of the FBI as a credible intel/LEO.

    2. The upper echelons have been corrupt at least since Mark Felt conducted his successful coup against Nixon.

    3. The corruption goes back to when they enlisted in the War On Drugs. 1934 at least.

Didn't Cameron gov't have to be involved? Steele was head of Russia desk at MI6. Imho, unlikely to participate without consent of his gov't. I have always assumed they also did some wiretapping and intercepts to obviate need for FISA warrants.(Standard 5 eyes practice.) I've raised these points before, but you haven't responded.

  9. I'm with Blake, although I'd go much farther: the stench of corruption in our erstwhile highly respected agencies, especially those with such strong enforcement authority like DOJ, IRS, FBI, is gagging.
Eventually, the actions of the Clintons, DNC, et al. will be fully exposed, or they won't, but the actions of Comey & Co. that enabled the fraudulent issuance of FISA warrants to tap private conversations of Trump campaign-related individuals, is rot that may never be uncovered and dug out.
I am so sad for my country, that such corruption has been so widespread, so deeply rooted, and so ignored by our 1A-protected "free press."

    1. The DEA may be near the top of the corruption list.

The street dealers get "justice", the banks and cartels get a finger wag.

If they were honest they might say, "Getting rid of Prohibition will mostly solve the crime problem." But they would mostly be out of jobs.

      What are the odds?

  10. The corruption first struck me when a federal agency murdered all those people at Waco without anyone being held responsible. So I wasn't surprised, sad to say, when the FBI murdered the witness to the lives of the Boston Bombers. I wonder whether the obvious deduction is that the Boston Bomber brothers didn't do it.

As for an earlier era and JFK: it's Ruby's murder of Oswald that needs explanation.

    1. For me it is the fact that Kennedy was shot from in front, AFTER his car had passed the School Book Depository. I have a friend about my age, whose father bought a rifle like Oswald's. Cheap, mail-order trash it was, and hard to fire so many rounds in such a short time. Still, with practice, and given certain scenarios, maybe so. However, the kill shot was from the front. If LH Oswald fired a distracting shot from the Depositary, he might later say, "I'm just a patsy." That is, in fact, what he did say. The rest is Midrash. LBJ, CIA, FBI Even MI6, (No, highly unlikely, just threw them in there to keep the right rhythm going.)could have been involved, and the outcome for me and mine would not change all that much.

However, to your earlier point, about Waco, absolutely correct. I watched it unfold on live television, as fires started in three different spots, inside such a short span of time.

Waco is only a hundred miles north of Austin. A journalism student, whom I knew pretty well, as she was helping in my growing Sunday school class, was covering the unfolding story for the Daily Texan. (student newspaper) Being right there, she was only too aware of the geometry of the thing, how close the fire engines were, how they were held back from getting within water cannon range, how the townspeople were not afraid of Vernon Howells, (David Koresh) How he went jogging most mornings, along country roads near the religious camp, stopping in at a truckers' cafe to drink coffee with the Sheriff. I also know people whose knowledge of these events, although they lived right in Austin, was so limited, so controlled and shaped by the media. that they would believe almost anything. I have talked, in later years, with people in MA and CA, who had really no idea of the circumstances.

The ashes were not cool when government "people" poured concrete over the whole thing.

When I have seen plots like this in the movies, I just dismissed the whole improbable thing, laughed it off. Yet, we are expected to believe the Government's "explanation" of matters like this was the shipping forecast.

    2. I think Oswald fired the fatal shots as one exited Kennedy's neck and hit Connolly sitting in front of him. I do think Oswald had a KGB connection and that is what has been concealed these years. Edward Epstein's books are excellent on this subject.

    3. Oswald was innocent of firing the shots.

  11. The Dems thought they were going to win AND use the Russia dossier to destroy Trump politically post-election, and if possible put him in prison. (Hillary's revenge for Trump's saying she belonged in jail and for all those 'Hillary for Prison' t-shirts)

And with a corrupt and politicized FBI, DOJ etc. they might have succeeded in that.

It is literally a miracle for this country that Trump won.

  13. DOJ needs to open a full-fledged investigation of Clinton-DNC collusion with the Russians, including both the bogus dossier and the Uranium One fiasco. Maybe we can come up with an indictment for Comey and or Mueller. Wouldn't that be delicious!
