I have been locked out of my X/Twitter account for nearly a month now with no explanation or response to my appeals forthcoming from the blue-haired gang that runs the pro-Hamas censorship operation over there. It seems that X/Twitter's brief burst of freedom when Musk took over has ended. New Twitter is now the same as old Twitter.
I will be posting here from now on. I have something in the works about the insanity surrounding the forthcoming elections in the USA.

All good-natured ribbing aside, there's probably some other issue that I also wouldn't much care about fixing. X is the emotional teen girl of the internet. You can't have meaningful discourse in tweets. I mean...xs.
Elon fired a bunch of folks at TwiX but needs to fire more of them to root out the cancer and maintain control of TwiX as a free-ish speech platform.

does sound like twitter needs some anti-spam help... that's pretty much what is going on there... trolls abusing tools meant to prevent spam by bots etc.
ReplyDeletehonestly.. I expect them to 'get it' before too long... it's only really been a year... hard to revamp a service with the throughput of twitter in that timeframe... let along safeguard against trolls.
