Good or Bad for the Jews

"Good or Bad for the Jews"

Many years ago, and for many years, I would travel to Morocco to visit uncles, cousins, and my paternal grandmother. Some lived in Tangiers;...

About to be a Millionaire!

One Million Views!

I guess it's time to let go those 97 Bangladeshi teenagers I have working for me for $1/week hitting return, return, return, return . . .

Thanks to all, and, of course, I forgot to mention that from now on it will be $2/view . .  . pay wall, just like the MSM .  . . and look at how well that's worked out for them!

Now back to getting up off the floor after reading that the GOP in Congress is caving to Obama.

  1. Worthwhile context, is worth viewing.

  2. I too am gobsmacked over the GOP cave. They deserve to lose, spineless creatures that they are. We are no longer a two party country. I'm changing my party affiliation to Independent tomorrow and when the GOP calls me and whines for contributions I shall tell them exactly why they will no longer get as much as a farthing from me.

  3. Congratulations on your millionth. Like Salvor Hardin says, good content is worth viewing.

As for the GOP cave, I am thoroughly disgusted and likely will change my party affiliation as well.

  5. Overheard in the "dayroom" of an Arkansas nursing home,

"We don't wanna watch that channel 'cause we don't care how big the Republican wing of the Democratic party is!"

  6. Well done! And you don't look a hit over 100,000

As to Congress, I don't care because I'm an 'untrustworthy', 'unreliable' Brit.

Much as I hate to say it (because of friends and, now former, comrades who'll pay the price) but I hope it all goes TU (big-time), because the president (please note the lack of capitalisation denoting a total lack of anything approaching respect) deserves it.

I might add, my reaction is relatively mild compared to most British military personnel (voiced only in private of course). Suffice to say, don't expect a polite answer should our involvement be wanted later.

  7. Abject apologies for not being specific - I was ranting regarding the removal of British Officers from intel/planning/targeting discussions in Tampa.

The removal of British Officers bears those retaliatory clawmarks of petty vindictiveness which strongly suggest the order for removal must have come straight from the top.

Many Americans identified this chip on each shoulder lust for perpetual revenge for imaginary slights five years ago, unfortunately, not enough of them.

I am truly depressed to hear that the so-called opposition caved in on such a winnable matter. By no means am I surprised, though. Of course, I heard the argument that congressional defeat would further weaken Obama vis-a-vis our foreign enemies, but I fail to see how he could be perceived as weaker than he is already known to be.

    On a more pleasant topic:

Congratulations on your millionth hit. And you did it without resorting to posting nude pictures of yourself!

  9. Leave it to Boehner and company to demand that they participate in this major screw up. What a mess.

  10. One of the Congress Critters from Austin spoke at the Austin Republican Club luncheon today, and he was pretty confident that the crap sandwich would not pass the house. The room thundered in applause. Sen Cornyn will be in a small town near Austin on Saturday. I have to work, but I am hoping to agitate the Beloved Spousal Unit into going to the meeting, to change his mind or stiffen his spine, PRN.The fat lady has definitely not sung, yet.

    1. I believe nothing about these people until I see it. Even then I'm suspicious. I never used to be this way.

  11. In normal cases, I think both parties should support the President when it comes to using the military. However, in this case we have no business in Syria. Both sides are our enemy.

  12. Why is anybody surprised these people are signaling agreement with Obama? This why I said primnary these guys.
Damn Mr. Mad some of your FS postings really took a toll on you (re: photo)

  14. Talking about this with some family members tonight, we decided Obama passed the ball to Congress fully expecting them to vote NO, because he was looking for the least embarrassing way of getting out of a military action that even he must realize is pointless and dangerous.
So Congress, if you want to make Obama happy--vote NO!

  15. I summon my blue-eyed slaves anytime it pleases me. I command the Americans to send me their bravest soldiers to die for me. Anytime I clap my hands a stupid genie called the American ambassador appears to do my bidding. When the Americans die in my service their bodies are frozen in metal boxes by the US Embassy and American airplanes carry them away, as if they never existed. Truly, America is my favorite slave.

  16. Um.. charging 2 dollars (Zimbabwe)/view is not really going to generate all that much income, even with a million views.

On a serious note, I appreciate your blog. Congradulations

  19. I have been with you since the tsunami. At the time I knew that your writing would get out to the higher ups and they would punish you for it.
The thing that has stuck with me is your statement that in the event of a crisis, the first thing the UN does is book every high end hotel room in the region...
My son had rotated off the Bonhomme Richard one day before their deployment. If I understand correctly, they were the first ship on the scene carrying a load of Marines to the Iraq war.
As another turn of fate, my son was rotated off the USS Barry one day before they deployed to the Med. The Barry ended up being the closest inland ship to Libya and they unloaded all of their ordinance and went back to Spain for more! I never understood our involvement in Libya and I still don't.
Through all of this I have relied on your counsel to help me understand what the he!! is going on.
I congratulate you on the one million hits and I hope you don't temper your argument to your audience...
