The Coup Attempt Continues

Is Sharyl Attkisson the Only Real Journalist?

Every time I read a piece by Sharyl Attkisson or see her on some talk show or another, I keep wondering how different the world would be if we had another dozen or so like her. She seems to be just about the only journalist not interested in being part of the Obama spin machine, and in seeking the ever elusive Truth. She seems not to pull her punches or to favor one party or political flavor over another. Her pursuit of the truth on Benghazi and Fast and Furious, of course, cost Attkisson her job with CBS, the Clinton  Columbia Broadcasting Service.

She has an eponymous and outstanding blog which everybody should read.

I mention this because I just read her piece on the enterovirus. She raises a point which I also raised in my much inferior piece of a couple of days ago on ebola. In my little posting, I noted that it is difficult to believe the healthocrats on ebola because of their ineptness in handling all the other "earth-ending" viruses of the past fifteen or so years. I noted, in addition, that political correctness prevents us from taking elementary steps to protect our nation if in fact the ebola virus outbreak is as serious as the healthocrats claim--that is, when they are not claiming that everything is under control. I wrote,
If this virus is, finally, the big one, the one we all have been expecting, then the government should do some simple things such as admit not knowing how it's transmitted, and shut down travel to and from the infected areas until it does. Enforce our immigration laws and put some security at the borders and other points of entry. These things, naturally, won't be done because they are not politically correct. The growing number of cases in the USA of TB and cysticercosis, for example, is just about entirely explained by massive illegal immigration from Mexico and Central America where these nasty diseases are rampant. Political correctness, of course, forbids us from mentioning that. (Emphasis added)

It seems the first casualty in these virus "outbreaks" is the truth. The truth is feared more than any virus and is allowed to die or at least go into remission.
When I wrote the bolded sentences I originally mentioned the enterovirus which is affecting hundreds of US-based children and noted that it is common in Central America. At the last minute, I pulled the reference, as I had no real evidence that there was a link between the enterovirus outbreak and the massive recent influx of Central American illegal children and their dispersal all over the United States by the Feds.

Well, Attkisson is less timorous and a better researcher than I, and stated the following re the enterovirus outbreak,
The CDC hasn’t suggested reasons for the current uptick or its origin. Without that answer, some question whether the disease is being spread by the presence of tens of thousands of illegal immigrant children from Central America admitted to the U.S. in the past year.
The origin could be entirely unrelated.
However, a study published in Virology Journal, found EV-D68 among some of the 3, 375 young, ill people tested in eight Latin American countries, including the Central American nations of El Salvador and Nicaragua, in 2013. (See Fig. 3)
Though the U.S. government is keeping secret the locations of the illegal immigrant children, there are significant numbers of them in both cities in which the current outbreak was first identified, Kansas City, Missouri and Chicago, Illinois, according to local advocates and press reports.
I think she has hit on a big iceberg: Yet another potential and major Obama cover-up of a criminal disregard for the health and safety of the American people. I hope Congress and others begin to question whether there is a link between the massive influx of Central Americans and the sudden outbreak of hundreds of cases of enterovirus infection.

The fact that the Feds are keeping secret the locations of where they dumped these people speaks volumes. I hope Attkisson and others follow up, and remember the CDC is about as politically correct as you can get.

  1. We are but legos to the great social constuctors. Put us together and take us apart and rearrange.

  2. I hope she stays on this story as well. I suspect the relocated illegal crossers and this virus are very much related. The implications of the press and the administration tamping this down is pretty amazing. But what I don't get is the parents -- even if not true and the two are utterly unrelated parents of schoolchildren should at least be questioning what is happening.

Many parents are up in arms over this, the fact that school officials were coerced to lie about the EVD-68 polio-like virus which killed a little girl in Cumberland, RI, and about which Hasbro Childrens' Hospital officials are trying to blame on staph.

Parents are up in arms, but unless one follows the blog sections of local media, one would never know that because our marxstream media pressniks refuse to report that because it's not PC, because it would embarrass dear leader and his corrupt shill-parrots.

  3. In a comment at another blog there was a link to a 36 year (1970-2005) CDC study which found only 26 reported cases of EVD-68 over that period in the United States.

  4. I should add that that should be compared to the 10 found in that linked study which was done over a very short period of time and examined only the 3,375 young people who showed up at a certain few clinics with flu-like symptoms.

  5. I don't know if it will do any good, but I sent Ms. Atkisson's article along with an email to my congressman asking if he or any other member of the Missouri congressional delegation was going to address their constituents' concerns with the CDC regarding this matter as part of their oversight responsibility.

Good God! You would think that the possibility of a pandemic would over come any politically correct squeamishness on the part of the bureaucracy but my hopes are not high as it were!

  6. Well, thanks for the link t her writings. I'm glad someone else has done the work to add meat to this suspicion.

  7. It's disheartening to see what (to me) appear to be so few journalists who actually practice the profession the way it's supposed to be done. The shameless bootlicking of the MSM leaves me at a loss for words.

That there are still some out there like Attkisson is heartening, but it seems like there just are not enough of them!

Oh, and she's pretty hot, too. That doesn't hurt!

    1. Now, now. We can't be letting some upstart reporter question the Narrative!

    2. I saw her picture and I KNOW what you were thinking!

  8. Where-ever there is a clash between a perceived voting bloc (in this case blacks) and the health of US citizens then the US citizens can be assured they will be ignored. That is particularly true in an election year, politicians are desperate to sway the 2 or 3% of voters sympathetic to a voting bloc that could mean the difference between success or failure, RINO's and dimocrats alike.

The various departments of government and organizations like CDC have long ago forgotten that they are there to serve the US citizen, they serve only their political master, apparently that extends to the supreme court too.

Entero-virus has it's voting bloc and will be ignored as a health problem until the politicians say it is a problem CDC will be mute, similarly AIDS (another Africa-sourced disease) had it's voting bloc and was ignored to the detriment of US citizens health (anybody remember Bill Clinton allowed AIDS infected blood to enter the tranfusion system without repercussion?) These people are segregated from any real possibility of contracting these dread diseases so playing the political game at the expense of others is a worthwhile gamble for them.

Sharryl Attkisson is indeed an inspiration-somebody who understands her job, not too many people around like that anymore, Jake Tapper is the only other I can think of.

  9. Attkisson, while a great reporter that has pissed off the Establishment, is also an anti-vaccine lunatic. Keep that in mind when you read about anything that she's written about health-related topics.

    1. I don't think I would agree with that depiction. She has published a couple of pieces charging the CDC with omitting key data in studies and in ignoring a major study that did find the possibility of a link between certain vaccines and autism is some children. I am not a believer in the vaccine-autisim link but along with Attkisson I get riled when CDC and other "experts" declare something off-limits for inquiry. The experts are just wrong too often.

  10. (Apologies Diplomad, I've to ask (what I'm pretty sure is a "in common reader with that Duff feller a'crost the pond) 'appens to be an Aussie (variant Delta) of ... I'm given to understand ... some[?] repute.

JK/Arkie recently "recovered possession" a coupla things requested "officially" this very current but in 2012 - known to be delivered unto this continent either '10 but maybe early as '09.

*Whitewall? Provided you could be "Moon Discreet" I'd appreciate.*

Or, anybody knowledgeable of Oz' forwarding acumen, I'd be very much appreciative of being in receipt of - I'd acknowledge somewhat curmudgeonly, liking to "time it" near Christmas.

    Australia's Post Service?

Might it keep track forwarding addresses six years on?

"Discretion being the better of valor et cetera, et cetera" as is said?

  11. Unreal, so, the CDC is using Ebola as it's "oh look, squirrel" distraction.

Yet, people still defend the current administration. As much disdain as I have for the crap pulled by the previous administrations, the impending health care disaster is all Obama and company.

  12. "Is Sharyl Attkisson the Only Real Journalist?"

    Yes*. Next question?

    *Pretty damned close anyway.

  13. Dr Friedman was Nanny Bloomberg's Soda Czar before he became Obama's CDC Head Doofus.

  14. This could be a perfect "Superstorm Sandy" moment in which the president could look presidential, decisive, protective... but he will not. He cannot. Fascinating glimpse into the priorities of this misadministration.
