Good or Bad for the Jews

"Good or Bad for the Jews"

Many years ago, and for many years, I would travel to Morocco to visit uncles, cousins, and my paternal grandmother. Some lived in Tangiers;...

Gun Control, Morlocks, and Elois

H.G. Wells' Morlocks are among us. We saw it in Colorado yesterday. The expected cries have gone out from the leftists; they demand that we become even more like the Eloi. We should all rely on the state to protect us from the Morlocks.

The horrid shooting in Aurora has generated the usual cries for "gun control" from the usual crowd.  The advocates of gun control seem to ignore that the movie theater in Aurora was the epitome of a gun controlled world. It was a microcosm of what the gun controllers want for all of us. I would hazard to guess that 99.9% of the people in that theater that night did not have guns with them. They relied on the odds, the police, the theater management, the "kindness of strangers" to protect them from any possible Morlock in their midst. We saw what happened that night, and we see what happens every night in the liberal hell known as Chicago: the Eloi die.

Fight the gun laws. Learn to shoot. Learn to protect yourself and your family. Remember the real lessons of Aurora.

  1. I wonder if that particular theater crowd is a microcosm of our society. While there is plenty of discussion about the metal health of the shooter and reports of victims shielding others as well as attempting to lead others to safety - their are no reports of anyone attempting to directly confront the evil they faced.
In that small group of theater attendees, where were those who with selfless abandon would rush forward rather than retreat? Doing so is not something I would expect from most, not from many, but certainly the lack of anyone willing to sacrifice all for the good of the innocents being slaughtered says as much about the social and moral character as the nut-job who killed and wounded so many.
Is this the type society that elects an Obama? Waiting for someone else to step forward...

  2. There are going to be dozens of stories coming out of this atrocity over the coming weeks and months, just like you never heard all the stories that came out of the Virginia Tech Shootings by Cho "Ismael Ax" Seung-Hui:

  3. Sorry, but I really have to ask if 100 round clips is reasonable. I think not and think they should be banned from sale.
Our military only uses 30 round clips.
I am absolutely in favor of the 2nd ammendment but fail to see how; short of a complete insurrection in the United States, why 100 round clips would be needed by a citizen.
