Good or Bad for the Jews

Obama as President "Is Not Optimal"

The President's "not optimal" remark about the death in Libya of four Americans, who were working for him, is one of the strangest, stupidest, and most infuriating remarks I have heard in a long time. That he would make the comment on a silly TV comedy show, just adds more insult to the injury.

That the President would find these deaths inconvenient, I guess, must be his attempt to proclaim that he feels the pain and "inconvenience" of the victims' families. Yes, it is never "optimal" to have to plan and attend a funeral for family members brutally killed, especially while knowing that the man who, as he boasted in the debate, sent them "into harm's way," instead of trying to save them, went to bed, then to a fund raiser in Vegas, and then tried to blame the deaths on a silly video by a man in California. That's a leader for you . . .

Let's make sure that these murders prove to be "not optimal" for the political fortunes of this inept and foolish Commander-in-Chief. Along with "you didn't build that" and "bumps in the road," this latest comment of President Obama highlights why this man must be defeated, and defeated convincingly.

  1. I only hope that those who voted for Obama understand their complicity in his actions as well as his inactions.

  2. Little barry is just so thoroughly trained in simply reading what is placed in front of him that he is at a complete loss without his teleprompter. When Jon Leibowitz used the word "optimal", little barry simply "read" the word right back.

  3. I remember a commercial for Obama that came out that featured Bill
Clinton talking about the killing of bin Laden. It showed Obama in a dimmly lit Oval Office, back to the camera, looking out the window behind the Resolution Desk (a take off of a photo of John Kennedy during the Cuban crisis). Bill Clinton is telling how it was a risky call to send the SEALs in to kill bin Laden because if it had gone wrong and the SEALs had been captured/killed, (and I'm paraphrasing here) it would have been a disaster for Obama.

WTF? SEALs are captured/killed and it would have been a disaster for Obama? What about the SEALs? Wouldn't it have been a bigger disaster for them, or their families?

That ad, more than anything Obama has ever said, gave me a clear indication of what he is all about. It's all about him. Never about the men under his command who put their lives on the line for this nation every day of the week. And why do I say that since Bubba cut the ad? Because those ads are approved by the campaign, and pre-written. All Clinton did was mouth the words. It reflected the attitude of this administration.

Few presidents have shown as much disdain for our military as Bill Clinton (Hillary was infamous for insulting the military attache in the White House, just as Buzz Paterson), until Obama moved into 1600 Pennslyvania Avenue. George W. Bush sent our soldiers into harm's way, but there was never any doubt in their minds that President Bush related to them, and was truely concerned about them. At every base where he spoke, he spoke to packed auditoriums with lots of Uhh-rahs. Even after he left office, it is not uncommon for President Bush to show up at Brook Army Medical Center unannounced to visit with the troops he once commanded. Obama, now no longer speaking at military bases although we are still fighting a war on two fronts, has to speak to the troops who are ordered to show up. Obviouly his disdain for our military now extends to our FSO.

The Libya scandal is not going to go away if I have anything to do with it. It needs to stay front and center. Our Hollywood POTUS can only appear on comedy shows because that is what his administration is; a tragic comedy.

  4. The attack in Libya came at 9:40 pm local, that is 3:40 pm DC. The attack lasted 6 hours. Where was Obama, Hillary, Panetta during this time. Was the Situation Room activated. Where were the carrier groups? The Enterprise is in the North Arabian Sea and the Lincoln is in the Persian Gulf. The best we could do is a slow drone that got there 5 hours later? We didn't have any assets in Israel, Libya or Syria or Turkey that could get there faster?

The timeline and response seem really wrong.

    1. Another interseting question, an answer for which I have not yet discovered, is why the Ambassador had travelled from Tripoli to Benghazi. What was the pull that removed him from a safer environment in Tripoli on this inauspicious date?

    2. I'd like to know that, too. Why, with hardly any protection, on that day of all days? Was he deliberately set up, was it just carelessness. It just seems so very odd.

    3. Never mind Israel, Libya, Syria or Turkey, what about SICILY!?!? Or the rest of Italy?!?!?!?

    4. Croppy Boy, you want an answer to your question? Think Fast and Furious, Libyan Style.

    5. I referred above to calling on US military assets in Sicily or elsewhere in Italy, if that wasn't clear :).

  6. And Obama thought he had his false empathy act turned up to max that day.

  7. When I googled "not optimal", one of the responses was that this is a golfing term. Let's face it, unless he can talk Hollywood, golf or basketball, he has no concept of anything...

  8. Bathhouse Barry's poll standing will begin to free fall faster than Felix Baumgartner after the next debate and crater by election day (53-47 at least), taking the Democratic Party (the political wing of the KKK) with him as the Black vote goes below 90% (stay-at-homes) and the Senate likely goes Republican along with the WH and the House of Representatives. He reeks of Loser, everyone knows he's a Loser, and there's nothing he can do in the third debate to change that.

    2. I was watching Red Eye the other day and someone said that if the election was a year from now they would kill themselves. I pretty much feel the same way. I can hardly take another 3 weeks...

  10. anon @12:23

There is a video of a Seal mother taking issue with Clinton on exactly that issue. (I just looked for it and cannot find it). But, she basically said what you said - a disaster for Obama? What about the seals who die and their families? Of course, I only saw this on Fox News - no where else.
